CAST & CREW OUTING
In early June of 2019, the cast and crew of The Turkey Men banded together and visited two historic locales which figure prominently in the play. The first stop was Camp Chase, now a revered Confederate cemetery, formerly, during the mid-nineteenth century, the Confederate prisoner-of-war camp run by the Union Army where the the turkey men met, according to legend.
After paying respects at Camp Chase, the cast and crew traveled down to Mount Sterling where the turkey men lived together for over 50 years and are buried side-by-side in Pleasant Cemetery. A visual record of the event, as photographed by JAMS PHOTOGRAPHY, is viewable below.
